How Sizing Works

Decal sizes are measured by width. The size you choose is the finished width of your complete name, measured from its farthest left point to its farthest right point. For example, a 3-inch size measures 3 inches wide. The height changes with the name and font. For exact height guidance, request a preview before ordering.

No Background Included!This is a cut vinyl decal, not a printed sticker. Any background shown in the product photos is for display purposes only. After application, only the vinyl lettering and design elements remain on your surface.

What size name decal should I order?

Measure the space you want to decorate and select the finished width that fits. A 3-inch selection means the name is 3 inches wide; its height depends on the name and font.

Can I choose my own font?

Yes. Use the Font selection and the font chart in the product images to choose the lettering style you prefer.

Does the size refer to the whole name?

Yes. The selected width measures the entire finished name, not the width of an individual letter.

What if my name is long?

Longer names will generally be shorter in height at the same selected width. If you need to fit a particular area, contact us for a preview before ordering.

Can I use this decal on a tumbler or water bottle?

Yes. Our vinyl decals work best on clean, hard, smooth surfaces, including many tumblers, water bottles, cups, laptops and car windows.

Is this vinyl decal waterproof?

The vinyl is water-resistant once properly applied. We recommend hand washing and avoiding soaking, dishwashers and microwaves to help your decal last as long as possible.

Can I see a preview before ordering?

Yes! If you would like a preview, contact us with your name or lettering, size and color choices. We will be happy to create a preview for you.

Does this decal have a background?

No! This is a cut vinyl decal, not a printed sticker. The background in product photos is for display only. Only the vinyl design remains after application—there is no surrounding white, clear, or square sticker background.
