How do I personalize my name decal?

How are name decal sizes measured?

Our name decals are generally measured by the overall width of the finished vinyl design. For example, a 3-inch-wide selection measures 3 inches from left to right. The finished height varies depending on the name length, font and design. Longer names may appear shorter in height when made at the same width. Always check the sizing information on the individual product page before ordering.

Can I choose the font and vinyl color?

Yes! We offer a variety of lettering styles and vinyl colors. Some name decals allow you to choose a font, while others feature a specific design. Certain designs, such as Name with Hearts, also allow separate color choices for different design elements. Review the available options and product images before ordering.

What surfaces can I apply a name decal to?

Our vinyl name decals work best on clean, hard, smooth surfaces such as tumblers, water bottles, cups, laptops, tablets and car windows. They are not recommended for textured, rubberized or soft-matte finishes, where the vinyl may not adhere properly.

Are name decals waterproof or dishwasher safe?

Our vinyl decals are water-resistant when properly applied, but we recommend gently hand washing decorated drinkware. Avoid soaking, dishwashers, microwaves, harsh chemicals and abrasive scrubbing to help your decal last as long as possible.

Does my name decal have a background?

No! Our name decals are made from cut vinyl, not printed stickers. Any background shown in product photos is for display purposes only. After application, only the vinyl lettering and any decorative design elements remain on your surface.
