Graduation Vinyl Decal FAQs

Helpful answers about choosing and personalizing your graduation decal.

What types of graduation vinyl decals do you offer?

Our graduation collection includes personalized names with graduation caps, graduation letters, three-initial monograms and inspirational sayings. Choose a custom design to celebrate your graduate or an encouraging message such as Reach for Your Dreams, Follow Your Dreams, Best Is Yet to Come or You Got This.

Can I personalize my graduation decal with a name or initials?

Yes! Our Graduation Name design lets you enter a name and choose cursive or print lettering. Graduation Letter allows you to select an initial, while Graduation Monogram lets you choose three initials and a monogram style. The inspirational sayings feature the wording shown in their product photos rather than custom names. Each product page shows its available options.

Can I add a graduation year or school name?

The current graduation designs have specific personalization choices, such as names, letters and monogram initials, but they do not include a standard graduation year or school name field. If you have a special request, please contact us before ordering to discuss what may be possible.

How are graduation decal sizes measured?

Sizing depends on the design. Graduation Name is measured by the overall width, including the graduation cap, while Graduation Letter and Graduation Monogram are measured by height. Our inspirational sayings have equal overall width and height measurements, so a 3-inch selection measures 3 inches wide by 3 inches tall. These measurements refer to the complete vinyl artwork, not a square sticker background. Measure your available space and check the sizing instructions on each product page.

Can I choose my graduate's school colors?

You can choose from the available vinyl colors shown on each product page, including solid, glitter and metallic options where offered. Select a color that complements your graduate's school colors or favorite color. Our current graduation designs use one vinyl color for the complete design.

Are graduation decals good for graduation gifts?

Absolutely! Graduation vinyl decals are a thoughtful way to personalize tumblers, water bottles, laptops and other graduation gifts. Choose a name or monogram for a personal touch, or select an encouraging saying to celebrate the graduate's next chapter.

Where can I apply my graduation vinyl decal?

Our vinyl decals work best on clean, hard, smooth surfaces such as many tumblers, water bottles, cups, laptops, tablets and car windows. They are not recommended for textured, rubberized or soft-matte finishes, where the vinyl may not adhere properly.

Do your graduation decals have a sticker background?

No! Our graduation decals are made from cut vinyl rather than printed stickers. Any background shown in product photos is for display purposes only. After applying your decal and removing the transfer tape, only the vinyl lettering and graduation artwork remain on your surface.

Are graduation decals waterproof or dishwasher safe?

Our vinyl decals are water-resistant when properly applied, but we recommend gently hand washing decorated drinkware. Avoid soaking, dishwashers, microwaves, harsh chemicals and abrasive scrubbing to help your decal look its best.

Can I request a digital preview before ordering?

Of course! We're happy to provide a free digital preview before you order. Simply contact us with your preferred graduation design, name or initials if applicable, vinyl color and size so you can see how your decal will look.
