Summer Vinyl Decal FAQs

Helpful answers about choosing and caring for your Summer decal.

Can I personalize a summer decal with a name?

Yes. Designs such as Shark with Name, Hibiscus Flower with Name and Palm Tree with Name include personalization. Some summer sayings are fixed. Check each product page for available options.

What summer and lake styles are available?

You'll find lake sayings, wave monograms, palm trees, flowers, beach trip designs and other warm-weather favorites.

Can I use summer decals on vacation cups?

Yes. A suitable hard, smooth tumbler or water bottle can be decorated for a trip. Apply the decal carefully and hand-wash decorated drinkware to help maintain adhesion.

Can I choose my decal's vinyl color and size?

Choose from the available vinyl colors and sizes displayed on the individual product page. Some designs offer a single color for the full artwork; others offer additional color or lettering choices. Available options vary by design.

How do I choose the right decal size?

Measure both the width and height of your available space before ordering. Decal sizing varies by design: some are measured by width, others by height or overall dimensions. A 3-inch-wide name decal is not necessarily 3 inches tall. Follow the sizing guidance on the specific product page.

Where can I apply my vinyl decal?

Our cut vinyl decals work best on clean, hard, smooth surfaces such as many tumblers, water bottles, cups, laptops and car windows. Avoid textured, rubberized and soft-matte finishes, where adhesive vinyl may not make full contact.

Does the decal have a white or clear sticker background?

No. Our designs are cut from vinyl rather than printed on a sticker sheet. Product photo backgrounds are for display only. After you apply the decal and remove the transfer tape, only the vinyl lettering and artwork remain.

Are these decals dishwasher safe?

The vinyl is water-resistant when properly applied, but we recommend gently hand washing decorated drinkware. Avoid soaking, dishwashers, microwaves, harsh chemicals and abrasive scrubbing.

Can I request a digital preview before ordering?

Yes! Contact us before purchasing with your chosen design, size, vinyl color and any available personalization details, and we'll be happy to provide a free digital preview.
